Want to run on the Yankee Stadium field? Here's your chance!
Join me at the Damon Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium on Thursday, September 29!
I have done over 400 road races in my nine years of running, so I’ve done a lot of cool races. But one of the most fun and memorable ones is the Damon Runyon 5K, held at Yankee Stadium. You get to run around the stadium and on the warning track of the field itself, which makes it a particularly memorable race! I did the event in 2019, and had a fantastic time. Plus, the money earned from the race goes to a great cause — cancer research.
Anyhow, I’m going to do the race again this year, after work on Thursday, September 29. This is the first time the event is being held live since the pandemic. And I hope some of my readers can join me! You can even save $5 on the Damon Runyon 5K by typing in SAVE5 in the promo code field. Click here to sign up. Both runners and walkers are welcome! The race is also looking for volunteers if you can’t run or walk this year.
In addition to the priceless opportunity of running around Yankee Stadium, you can also get a free Impossible Burger and a St. Lawrence Brewing Company beer in the Delta SKY360°Suite at the ballpark after the finish. Pretty cool! So please help cancer research by signing up for the Damon Runyon 5K, and save $5 by using the SAVE5 promo code!
